Job Description:

We are looking for a full-time staff member who will be focused on the spiritual health of all our families (i.e., traditional, single parent, empty nesters, etc.) as well as direct the congregational care needs of our entire congregation.  The family ministries role is responsible for the development and execution of programs that will promote reaching, serving, and meeting the Christian needs of the families within our congregation.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing programs to develop and equip families to be spiritually healthy.
• Recruiting, training, and supporting a network of volunteers to lead various family programs.
• Serving as a catalyst for the entire church staff in the development of joint programs that will reach families.
• Partnering with Directors of Youth and Children’s Ministries to ensure programming synergies exist between these ministries.
• Integrating the activation of the entire family into the new member orientation program, moving families from interested visitors to becoming members of the congregation.
• Teaching Christian education classes on a regular basis.
• Assisting with worship services (e.g., liturgy, prayer, announcements) as directed by the Senior Pastor.
• Serve as a staff point of contact for our Stephen Ministries program and the development and execution of a visitation program as a part of the congregational care portion of the role.

• Developing and executing programs to reach people in need of God’s love in the areas surrounding our community.

Job Summary

- The position ICT Manager will be an integral position within the College

- Development and implement of the ICT Strategic Plan

- Provide day-to-day Operational Support and Maintenance

- Provide training to all students and staff in the use of internal systems

The position will work closely with the IT Assistants to provide end user support for hardware and software computing facilities throughout the Campuses and delivery centres.

A major responsibility will be primary end user support to teaching and administrative staff.  A flexible approach to working in a problem solving team environment with changing priorities is an important aspect of the position.  Knowledge of the latest ICT trends in educational is essential.

As online (Video & Audio) support, your responsibility is to support the implementation of e-learning and information and communication technology (ICT) and ensure students and tutors operate in a secure and reliable learning environment, associated with online programs, Moodle administrator.

Qualifications:

Desirable - Completion of a tertiary qualification in a computer related field or significant experience in a Science/Information Technology employment role

An understanding of PHP and MYSQL pertaining to Moodle and other content management systems

Knowledge of Video Capture, Encoding and Streaming Technology, specifically H.264 related video

A current Victorian Drivers licence

Essential - Working with Children Check

Desirable - A Microsoft server management certification

Key Selection Criteria

- Demomstrated understanding and experience with software applications, PC and associated hardware and Windows environment

- It is essential that you share in the College's vision and committments

- Previous experience in a Helpdesk environment would be an advantage

- Ability to communicate clearly and display an assertive approach to support assistance where required
